And on 2nd Easter day, we had a rooftop breakfast with J's family (and yes, the weather was a balmy 22 degrees!!)
yes, it was weather for hats! it's amazing that barely 2 weeks ago, we still needed our jackets and coats, and now we are lounging comfortable with the windows open!
and to work off our big big breakfast, we decided to go for a little ramble through the city - this is the rembrandtsplein, where everyone seemed to be out enjoying the sunshine and the long weekend on the terraces of the cafes here..

GUESS WHAT I GOT IN THE MAIL!!! OH, how LOVELY! I had to rip it open before I even got to the door and opened the house for my girls (on our arrival back after making an unnecessary trip to dance class - check my poem tomorrow for more about that!). And the gift! What a surprise. I'll have to share when I decide for sure what we'll do with it. :) Yall are awesome!!
